The Tale of Two Cities according to Stephi and Heiko – Part 336Today is an important day in Germany as it is Election Day. People have been called to elect the new parliament and after 16 years there is going to be a new chancellor. And as long as you aren’t a hermit that sits at home without TV, radio or Internet 24 hours, there is no way that you aren’t aware of the election. It is visible everywhere. There might have been some things different due to the pandemic but there are still way too many billboards and posters all around our cites. And that’s what we are trying to show you with our pictures, the first from Munich and the second one from Cologne. We are both not really happy with our pictures but that is not because of the pictures themselves but the billboards they show (or try to hide). Politically, Stephi and I are on a pretty similar page and the billboards we mostly saw have been form parties we just cannot stand, as these parties are conservatives, right wings or just plain stupid. But at least my wife has a funny anecdote about the guy on the billboard in the second picture that always makes me laugh and shows that he is one whiney dude…Anyone else anxious about any election? -- source link
