The Assassination of John F. Kennedy: Depictions in Film.6/7Watchmen (Zack Snyder, 2009).Zack Snyder’s maligned film adaptation of the revered graphic novel Watchmen is remembered for “pretty good bits” mixed in with “pretty silly bits”.One of those good bits was the credits which was a montage of an alternate American history IF superheroes had existed set to Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are A Chagin. There are superheroes painted onto the side of the Enola Gay, superheroes at World War 2 celebrations. But with the ascent there is a fall, and one of very pointed moments is the assassination of Kennedy, which supposes that vigilante turn government operative The Comedian was the “second” assassin on the grassy knoll. This is a slight deviation from the graphic novel which only suggested that The Comedian was present. They do also suggest he murdered Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. So, he was, you know, known for this type of thing.TumblrChannelTwitter -- source link
