toadschooled: No creature pushes the limit of what could still be considered a frog quite like Myobatrachus gouldii, also known as the turtle frog. The only species of its genus Myobatrachus, the turtle frog has evolved short strong limbs and small eyes that allows it to burrow head-first into the Western Australian sand.
