Day 3 #stradaeasel challenge; “Pacific Mistletoe” 8" x 10" oil on linen, 2021 Here in the northwest, Pacific Mistletoe is an amazing parasitic plant that can be found growing on the native oak species. Along with various mosses, lichens, and ephiphyte ferns it forms part of a complex ecosystem growing on a single tree.
