nuclearspaceheater:mojave-wasteland-official:nuclearspaceheater:Identical bottles of pharmacy-brand ibuprofen, except they are packaged to match the color-scheme of the name-brand equivalents they’re displayed next to, Advil and Motrin, respectively. So?Same chemical makeup, half the price. There isn’t a so. I just thot it was funny after I spent 10 seconds comparing them to see what the difference was.Weirder was the two packages of diphenhydramine I saw on separate aisles that were exactly the same dose. The only difference was that one of them was marketed as an allergy medication next to the brand-name Benadryl, and the other was marketed as a sleep aid, next to the brand-name ZZZ-Quil. And the one marketed as a sleep aid had a warning saying “Do not use to treat allergies” or something like that.Well, now that I think of it, the allergy one was a solid pill, and the sleep aid one was some kind of liquid/gel capsule. But it wasn’t time-release or anything, so I don’t know what the point of that was. -- source link
