probablytinyscience: My first tarot spread! It’s inspired by a few spreads I saw, and then I added some elements to give me the whole picture. I’m really really happy with how it turned out and the reading I got was incredibly clear. This spread is for anytime you want to ask someone to do something with you! Whether that be asking them out on a date, asking them to hookup, asking them to help you with something, asking them to start a business project with you… anything at all!Shuffle your deck and deal out cards 1 though 7 as usual. Pull card 8 from the very bottom of your deck as a reflection of it being the shadow card of the spread.Card 1: You- This card represents you, the person doing the reading. This card is all about how you feel about the other person, how you see them, how you view the relationship between you.Card 2: Them- This card represents the person you’re doing the reading about. It’s about how they feel about you, how they see you, how they view the relationship between you.Card 3: Energy- This card represents the energy between you, the state of your relationship, how well you get along together. Or not. This is the foundation of the reading in a way, where you’re coming from. This card represents how you two are now and thus how you’ll likely continue to be, if you ask them or if you don’t.Card 4: Why Should You Ask Them? What would be the positive outcome if you did ask? Card 5: Why Shouldn’t You Ask Them? What would be the negative outcome if you did ask?Card 6: What Do You Hope to Gain? Why do you want to ask them? What would you get out of it? How would it benefit you?Card 7: What Do You Fear to Lose? What’s holding you back from asking them? What are you scared of? Card 8: How to Fill the True Void? What is the deeper issue here and what can you do by yourself to fix it? The power is all in your hands to fix yourself. What can you do alone to fix the gap rather than by asking someone to help you with it. Is it possible to do this alone? Do you want to? Or is the true void the lack of companionship in your life? This is the card that reaches deepest within yourself, finds the barest scraps of your shadow self, and reflects that back at you. -- source link
