6/2/14 This past weekend I finally had an opportunity to go Downtown and visit the house. It’s absolutely beautiful during the summer. The people who are out on the balconies/patios, the leaves on the trees, and the lively atmosphere makes it feel like a completely different city. It makes me feel envious of the people who get to stay Downtown during the summer. Throughout my summer I’ve been constantly longing to go back Downtown. Due to my full-time job I’m not able to go very often. I often wonder why I miss Downtown so much… I usually came to the conclusion that it’s where all my friends are and not to mention my everlasting love for the city.But today another thought came into mind. Do I love the city because of the city itself or do I love it because of the freedom it gives me? Maybe it’s just both… Iunno. Just random thoughts going through my mind throughout the summar. -- source link
