Leaving fake money in the offering plate for a fake church who gives your employees fake tips is 100% fine – though I really, REALLY hope the OP told that guy what his church group’s shitty actions did. Churches should be about helping people, not passive-aggressive acts of ‘proselytizing’ that will just hurt people anyway.
