After the first rise, knead the dough a second time and then stretch out or roll out to about 12″ by 8″. It doesn’t have to be precise. 3. Brush with melted butter, then layer shredded cheddar cheese over the dough, stopping about 1″ from the edge. I used about a cup total. 4. Sprinkle one bunch of green onions, chopped, over cheddar, and press down to press into the dough a little.5. Optional: sprinkle a mixture of garlic powder and red pepper flakes lightly over the onions; sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.6. Roll the dough as tightly as possible, to make many layers. Let rest for 5-10 minutes. 7. Slice lengthwise to expose the innards, and then twist the two halves together as shown at this website. SHIT WILL FALL ALL OVER. Do the best you can. 8. Place gently into a loaf pan, cover, and let rise about 45 minutes. 9. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes. 10. Eat. Weep with joy. :D -- source link
