draumavolva: Heilung is a norse-germanic reconstructive music band. They’ve become pretty famous around norse pagan comunity because of their music, their lyrics and of course THEIR AESTHETIC. This semi-reconstructive tribal aesthetic has turned off some people from the heathen comunity because of their lack of histrical research, but the truth is that we don’t have that much information around this topic in general. They dress like this, and do their performance with a purpose, which I think is the most important thing. They make something resonate around us, the norse pagan comunity, that conect us with the gods somehow even tho it may or may not be historicaly accurate. Anyway, I wanted to leave this reflexion here as I shared with you one of my favorite heathen groups.
