Lily’s Birthday Collection II - Bloodborne Doll Following the previous post, I wanted to show other details from my OOAK doll. I used the body of the tall asian Barbie BMR 1959, and the head is from the Florence Nightingale Barbie, from the Inspiring Women collection. Lily is tall and has very fair skin, so I thought these would be the best choices. She also has a long, wavy brown hair; however, I picked the Florence head (that has short hair) because it would fit better under the hat, while still showing the curly locks at the front. I spent between 3-4 hours to paint the doll’s face, it wasn’t easy. I needed magnifying glass goggles and very small brushes (not small enough, I need to buy more), but it was quite fun to do. Though it is not so realistic, I think it gives off a “Mona Lisa” vibe, a very peculiar trait of Lily’s overall expression. The miniature cat was gray dull one, bought on Aliexpress. I repainted it to look like Lily’s cat, Bigby. I also wanted to showcase the gift box. I found it on Winners months ago, and it was just perfect. I found a way to tie the furniture and the doll to a carton support and fit it inside the box. The result almost looks professional at the end, I’m proud of it - and most important, Lily liked it too!Next post will be a deep look at the furniture! -- source link
