You probably no longer need this cause I’m sure you got flooded with answers but for people who follow me this might be handy: Note: The fascia isn’t a muscle, its connective tissue that encapsulates/divides/stabilizes the muscles. What it means is it doesn’t do the ‘squish’. ( refs: 1 2 ) While knowing the names of the muscles is pretty great and as a vet, I spent 4 years learning various types of anatomy from systematic to pathological, in between a lot of other ways to look at it so I can’t see myself not knowing em, I personally think, as both someone trained in functional anatomy and an artist, that more important than knowing *who* they are is way more hardcore to know how they work and what they do.
