(the first time used for living animals if I’m correct)GGI might be way more detailed today, there are more advanced tools, and somehow the animation feels more natural in 1993.  It’s because the early cg had to be “stiffer” but that’s what reality looks like. As it became easier to do so, cg has been given more extreme bounce and wobble effects just to show off the tech and make everything look flashier than reality, so every big budget cg creature today is just jiggling and flailing into the camera like there’s an earthquake at the anime tit factory -- source link
