This was an AU idea that came to me. What if the cosmic storm in Trolla played out a little differently? Pulled from their customs a little earlier, the storm a lot stronger…?Dropped into the Eternian Palace, years before the birth of the twins, was Orko. Adopted by the king and queen as a son officially thanks to such a young age, he in turn became a prince by adoption. Too young to know of his past, and having no clue he could tap into magic, he was raised in a palace where tech was the focus over magic. Since he never knew he was meant to be floating instead of walking, his legs were declared “weak” and given braces. His short size meant he was given a blaster cuff and shield for protection, more reliable than his canon self’s magic. Unfortunately, due to his weak state, he’s still an “unsure heir”, so Adam and Adora were still born, and they were still considered the chosen ones. Thankfully for him, he was still allowed to be privy of their secret.During the same cosmic storm, another Trollan child was brought to Eternia…just into the wrong palace. Dree Elle was dropped at Snake Mountain. Here, she was looked after by various Evil Warriors in their twisted ways, though primarily Evil Lyn, letting her magic skills flourish. Her smaller size means she has yet to face against the Heroic Warriors, or know about the existence of another Trollan in a very close vicinity. Having abilities steeped from other Evil Warriors has helped her knowledge banks, however. She has basic animal speaking skills, but the only one that is successful is towards Scarg, a gift from Whiplash. Rather than the pun-driven hamminess of the majority of the Evil Warriors, she is icily polite, in a way that feels more like you’ve just been offended by a compliment.In a universe alternate to both Trolla and Eternia is Etheria. In the Fright Zone, domain of the Evil Horde, was where Squonge was transported. While one would think Shadow Weaver being such a force of magic would mean that his natural abilities could be unlocked, unfortunately, Hordak got to him first. Too powerful already to use science to evolve him further, he instead became a mechanical test subject. Despite his size, his powers have been increased tenfold. Despite this, he keeps feeling this weird “draw” of wanting to learn Shadow Weaver’s techniques in his mind. Due to being found earlier than her birth, along as having Hordak as a “father”, he came to view Adora, during her stint in the Horde, as a little sister. While not having attacked the Rebels at all, his biggest dislike of them is the fact they “took his little sister away from him”.Unexpectedly, years after the first cosmic storm, a second, slightly weaker storm, erupted in Trolla. This one only took one child, at the age that the other three were taken, and dropped him off in Etheria. This child was Snoob. He was quickly found by Madame Razz, back when the Rebellion was a small flicker. Having a much more humble personality thanks to the way he was raised, Snoob’s been steeped in magic fully, letting his abilities grow strong at a young age, also making him much more powerful than his original self could have thought of being. Adora has recently joined the Rebellion, and he’s a bit unsure about what he should think about her. All he does know is that She-Ra is a good person, but why does his mother seem to know something he doesn’t about her? -- source link
