This chain mail worn by Varg Viernes was made by Steinar Sverd Johnsen and Marius Vold in the early `90s. They made a series of chain mails and this was the first; it was made especially for Varg using 120 rings in diameter, in total 12.000 rings. A total six chain mails were made in those early times; three ended up in the role play environment, and three for Black Metal folks. Probably Varg’s chain mail was confiscated after he got arrested, and still is at storage at the police, or has been discarded by them.
