lostwiginity:theroguefeminist:beneffleck:Muslims in movies and TV shows are practically nonexistent, and when they are included, they’re misrepresented and portrayed incorrectly. A group of young Muslim Americans are trying to make a show about Salahadin Ayyubi, the Muslim leader from the 12th century in the hopes of better representing Islam as a religion. Two years ago they were able to raise $84,000 on Kickstarter, but decided to save that money and pitch their show to Netflix now. Please watch the pitch video they made and support their initiative by sharing on facebook, twitter, and any social media platforms with #NETFLIXListen. For more information, you can check out their: Facebook page and Twitter account and Kickstarter campaignhttp://peacehouse.us/salahadin/ more info on their website!I think he looks more like a side character in a comedy show that’s supposed to be goofy, but all the ladies watching are like “I want him!” -- source link
