An ambivalent photograph, where we see a gesture of love and devotion, and of almost submission of Lennon towards his wife, contrasting with the lost and somewhat cold gaze of Yoko Ono. If we stop, we can even glimpse a gesture of excitement on his face. The naked body of Lennon emphasizes his fragility and helplessness, curled up before the hieratic figure of Yoko, with a less expressive character, which summarizes the image that trascended to the media of their relationship, and the image that we all have in the unconscious collective. Lennon himself, upon seeing the Polaroid photograph, confessed: “You have captured our relationship perfectly…” -- source link
