3intheam: Oh dear. This episode of Cold Chain Mission is particularly depressing and I can see why people had such strong views about it. It is so sad that even these incredibly remote areas of the world are still poisoned by drugs/alcohol and the idea that western medicines should be viewed with some sort of skepticism. There’s a hierarchy everywhere, which is to be expected, but to learn that they pay their second class citizens in cigarettes and alcohol is just….urgh. No words. -- source link
