howlingowl-wra: A collection of gifts that were wrapped along with a card that was set on the very top were arranged in another separate larger box was set outside of Yainah’s door early in the morning of her birthday. As she starts to wrap things from top to bottom, the card would be on the very top of all of the packages. Signed by a number of different people, it would read:Grandma Yainah,There are no words to describe how much we value and treasure everything you do for those at the Howling Owl. From every time you come and do a baking class or just gift us with your presence, we all find ourselves incredibly blessed to be a part of anything you do. We all truly adore you and appreciate all of the hard work you put into the Howling Owl. We hope that your day is wonderful as you deserve nothing less.Happy Birthday to you!All of the Howling Owl Staff.Located directly underneath the card, the woman would find a small jewelry box with a silver owl pendant attached to a long chain. The stomach area of the owl would be made out of jade and the feet, wings and eyes would have tiny aquamarines surrounding it to tie in both her name as well as her birthstone.The next box down would be a more square box and inside of that is a number of circular tins filled with a number of different tea leaves that had been harvested from the fields at the Howling Owl. A number of different kinds of teas along with different flavors would be present.Just below that box would be another, slightly larger and heavier box would contain a carving of a serpent that is also made out of jade. The final box in that pile would contain a large owl shaped cookie jar that would be filled to the top with all of Yainah’s favorite cookies. Then, set next to the gift boxes is a large cake box with a jade green bow on top of it with a large owl shaped cake made with chocolate angel food cake and paper thin ‘feathers’ all over it.@jadeblossom-journeys -- source link
