This shit was on my Facebook, being shared and liked by people I personally know. When I brought it up with them, I was shouted at and screamed over, constantly interrupted, and then they had the audacity to say that I was silencing them an they weren’t allowed to speak their opinion. First, a flag is never more important than a human life. There is no excuse not to know why these black women are doing this - we know about #BlackLivesMatter and we know why it’s a thing. Second, to assume that these women are on welfare is bullshit. There is absolutely no evidence of that. They’re just black. Is that fucking evidence? Only if you’re a racist who assumes any non-white person must be on welfare. Third, let’s just say someone out there who is protesting by disrespecting a piece of fabric is on welfare. You’re saying that because they step on the flag they don’t deserve the money to eat? Survive? God forbid someone exercises their right to protest. If they don’t sit down and shut up, they don’t deserve to eat, have clothes. But you know. I’m the ignorant one. -- source link
