renatagrieco:February 2, 2021 - Yellow-throated Toucan (Ramphastos ambiguus)These toucans are found in Central America from Honduras south through Panama to northern South America in parts of Venezuela and Colombia and along the Andes mountains in Ecuador and Peru. Their diet is mostly fruit but they will feed on insects, lizards, and bird eggs on occasion, foraging in pairs or small flocks. Probably breeding between March and June, pairs nest in natural tree cavities or old woodpecker nests. Both parents care for the chicks. They are listed as Near Threatened by the IUCN because of rapid habitat loss, as well as hunting in some parts of their range. -- source link
