peashooter85: Even Russians need a pocket gun —- The PSM Pistol The Russians are not exactly known for creating small caliber pocket pistols. Believe me I’ve seen a lot of pocket and mouse guns but few were from Russia. But when the need arises, necessity provides. Thus the PSM was born. A blowback operated double action pistol that is remarkably like the Walther PPK, the PSM is unique in that it uses a small but powerful .22 (5.45x18) cartridge. While small, the cartridge has a high velocity and can propel the bullet to over a thousand feet per second. At typical shootout ranges it can pierce 55 layers of Kevlar. The PSM was popular with KGB Agents, undercover police, and Soviet/Russian dignataries because of its concealability and ease of use. An export model, the IZh-75 is also produced in .25 acp.
