A basal relative of the Greep and Ganglegeist, the Common Geist is among the most frequently encountered of spirits. Although they exhibit some anthropomorphic features, it is unclear whether they were human at any point. It has been theorized that Geists may not grow teeth of their own; one specimen was found to possess teeth from thirteen distinct individuals. This suggests that Geists engage in “tooth collection”, adorning their mouths with found (or stolen) dentition, although this has never been directly observed. -- source link
