An insect doesn’t even have a sense of its own identity. Putting the hood on symbolizes the obliteration of the female identity and its induction into the world of insects. Look at this insect with its legs flailing all over the place, rolling on its back. Its suffering is more comical than anything else. It makes me want to fuck it with the end of a wooden broomstick, and pin its uterus to the cement floor. I can just imagine the insect noises coming from under its hood. Hilarious. -- source link
