I walked into the scene unsuspecting a lion hidden among the dogs. With a backwards step and the push of an overzealous pup I found myself in a cage, and soon thereafter spotted the lion’s golden mane blowing in the breeze. I felt safe in the cage, hidden, less vulnerable to his attack, but was weary to turn my back. I waited until his slumber to sneak out and tiptoed around him, but as soon as I felt it safe to run he awoke. I heard his paws pounding against the earth, then the silence of his jump and I turned around only to see the black of night, in my own bedroom. -- source link
