It’s one of our favorites, too! #Repost @rediscovergainesville ・・・ For more than 50 years, The Yearling (named for the Marjorie Rawlings book of the same name) has been serving up sights and cuisine of Florida as it was in the early 1900s. Tonight we opted for the special, fried catfish with grits, okra, hush puppies and pecan pie for dessert. If you’re lucky enough to make it out on a Friday or Saturday night, be sure to get a seat near the stage, where blues icon Willie Green plays guitar, harmonica, and sings in his signature Delta Blues style.
