Requested by: @princess-of-the-fandomsFandom: teen wolf Relationship: Isaac X Reader, Brett X Reader Prompt: Can I get an imagine where the reader used to love Isaac but he went to France and left the reader heartbroken. The reader met Brett and he fixed them back up with care and attention. Isaac comes back and he tries to get the reader back. You can choose the ending. Word Count: 672 You were heartbroken, the day Alison died everything went dark. Isaac, the love of your life, left. You felt as if you were in a dark tunnel fumbling trying to find a way out, trying to find the light. Isaac left you in a dark tunnel, alone. He never was over Allison, you felt used. Like your once great love was just a lie. A way to make your best friend jealous. He never saw that she was meant to be with Scott, he was never hers, no matter how hard he tried. Then came Brett, you promised yourself not to fall in love with another werewolf, you didn’t want to end up like Allison. You couldn’t let that happen, you didn’t want your friends to go through that pain. Brett was different, but you didn’t trust it. You couldn’t trust your instincts, not after Isaac. But Brett, he was your light out of the dark tunnel. He never pushed your limits, he did everything you needed to, he helped you be you again. That’s all you ever wanted. You met through Liam and nothing has been the same since. Brett understood when you told him about Isaac, he promised he would never get angry about you choosing Isaac. You didn’t think you would ever see Isaac again. Until an unknown hunter began to attack, he came back strutting with a new found confidence you’ve never seen him wear. You already felt the difference from the scared little boy, you had loved just a few years ago. You squeezed Brett’s hand scared of what may happen. “Isaac what are you doing here,” Scott questioned stepping In Front of the pack. You felt Brett let go of your hand and Liam move away from you. Leaving you and Lydia behind them. Normally you can hold your own in a battle but when their wolf senses cause them to act like this you keep your human self away from the fight. Especially with Stiles at college you’ve stayed at the McCall home during most of the fights, to keep the boys from worrying about losing you like Allison. But, today was the lacrosse game, Scott’s last as a coach before he goes to college. So why now? You wondered. Why the one time you’re out of the house during a fight? Why at this point in time did he think it was necessary to bring his beautiful face back to Beacon Hills. Why is life toying with your heart right as you found happiness again. You didn’t want to look at him knowing you’d fall for those puppy dog eyes all over again as soon as you did. You had enough of the stare down and pushed through the barrier the boys had created around you. “Isaac, what are you doing here,” you spat. The anger was taking over, the pain of him leaving you, it all was coming out in this moment. “I came to see you,” he whispered as he met your eyes. You stood frozen as he moved closer to you, from behind you heard Brett growl. You turned your head to meet the eyes of your partially transformed boyfriend before whipping your head back to your nearing Ex. “Yeah, well you’re about two years too late.” You pushed him away walking backwards to Brett. Still facing Isaac, you saw the hurt in his eyes and the guilt rose in you. “Don’t Isaac.” “Don’t what?” “Don’t act hurt, you left” you were gritting your teeth. Doing everything you could to keep from crying. “You left and now it’s my turn.” You turned away from the group and ran towards your car. You heard the screams of the pack but you couldn’t focus as the tears filled your eyes. This was a dangerous time, you had no time to play his game. So you drove away the fear of being alone didn’t come into your mind. You were done with werewolves and problems. You wished for the day your life was normal. -- source link
