thechildrensmuseum: Teodulo Sison, born in 1906 in the Philippines, first arrived in the United States in 1930. He was one of many young Filipino men who sought education in the US. He earned an undergraduate degree in English and a master’s degree in Philosophy. After settling in Indianapolis, where he was one of the first Filipino Americans in the city, he helped to establish the United Filipino American Club of Indianapolis. This photograph features a farewell for two members going into the Navy in 1942. Teodulo is seated at the center end of the table. -- source link
