utane: As you might know I deal in self-indulgent AUs, and today I finally drew the single dad Drift stuff that’s been rattling in my brain for a week.In my AU Slipstream is a newframe Drift helped out during his stint with the wreckers. Maybe Slipstream was captured by slavers etc, and Drift being a bleeding heart after Wing helped Slipstream out. Then he became a mentor/teacher/parental figure for him.After the war Drift sets up Slipstream on Cybertron with an apartment and best education money can buy (bc Drift is still loaded, right?), before leaving on the Lost light roadtrip.They meet on accident after Empire of stone. Which is a little surprising for Ratchet.Slipstream isn’t in IDW1, so I just straight up nabbed him from RiD, bc the minicons rly rattle my brains for dad AUs.
