crazycritterlife:They did it!! Kai and Malia finally worked as a team today and it was amazing! What a fun flight! Kai was chasing the rabbit around a bush when Malia came in from the side and cut it off. With a goshawk at its back and a dog at its front, the rabbit decided to leap straight up in the air, where Kai collided with it and brought it to the ground! Malia was great and knew well enough to give Kai space once he had it so everything went smoothly from there. I’m on cloud 9! Nine months of fieldwork with the pup and a rough first week trying to get Kai to cooperate with her, but I think it’s finally paying off! -- source link
