dunmoor-camhanaich:I’ve decided to do a series of thank you pictures to the various beautiful people who helped encourage me in my art and in particular this blog! I have a number of these planned but I’m starting with the two who I first revealed my plot to: @kajeaynart was one of the first! Each of these will feature someone’s character reimagined as a fae from my universe.Kaj was the first person I really told about the blog, and she encouraged me about wanting to hear the full story. I was really nervous to tell anyone for fear it’d be silly or stupid, but Kaj’s kind words and sincerity gave me the boost I needed. You are so talented and sweet and stand up for your beliefs and I really love that about you! <3I went with the butterfly theme for Neon, even though I love feathers I wanted to try doing butterfly wings for her. I loved the idea of a bright colored Neon drifting through a verdant forest of mossy trees and mist, flickering in and out of sight. Naturally she gets a fairy ring, because she’s magical af. In my headcanon, Neon is from the Spring Court and was once a lost changeling herself, who made it her mission to save others like her. She’s overcoming her fears and helping others.
