Treated myself to Peking Duck from my favourite duck place in Shekou while I watched Friends. I ordered from this place a lot when I was studying for my IB exams and didn’t have time to cook. It felt like quite a throwback. The food was absolutely delicious, though portions are larger than I remember. I’m trying to eat at all my favourite meat places before I go to Kunming because once I return with Sophia I’ve promised I will eat vegan with her to make her transition into China easier. Tomorrow I’m meeting up with a high school friend to get lunch at my favourite Japanese restaurant. I’m soooooo excited to go back there and after two days alone I am also quite ready for the social interaction. I’m also definitely feeling the pangs of not having a VPN, but that should be sorted on Saturday and the break from all the fun stuff on my phone (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, messenger, Gmail, Twitter, Google) should be good for me. Planning the Tiger Leaping Gorge trip using Bing is a total pain though and I’ve decided I really, really dislike Bing. =_= Bing is not user friendly. -_-# Also, using Tumblr for a blog was a good idea because if I’d used any other blogging format it’d be blocked now. -- source link
