What positive things do empires do that makes all the genocide, cultural destruction, and oppression worth it?They bring peace, spread technological/philosophical advances, expedite the use of natural resources, bring law to formerly lawless regions, and many other things.all of those things can literally be acheived without oppression and atrocities. By that same token; genocide, oppression, and other unpleasant things can happen without empires.But empires cannot form without genocide or oppressionI disagree.Name one. -- source link
