Random portrait of John Silver, acrylics 18x24 cmRecently I bought some acrylic paints and canvases to brush up (heh) my traditional painting skills since I have been drawing mostly digital art for the last couple of years. I want to have some big paintings on my wall at some point in the future so I decided to practise with small ones first. And well, I enjoy drawing Silver, so what better subject to start with :D Although this ended up looking like some sort of Jesus painting which is a bit disturbing… and I’m not sure if I should still define some parts or not (like the hair or his jacket) but I’m afraid of ruining it so I’ll probably just add some varnish to finish this (and practise spreading that stuff)… Anyway, so I decided to share this one now then.
