Ok so let me paint you a picture of why this photo was taken. Yesterday Elliott and I went to Aviator Brewery with one of my mom friends and her little boy. It was a GORGEOUS day so we decided to sit out side. Elliott was getting a little restless sitting in mommy’s lap (now that he’s mobile he wants to crawl all over!) Luckily I was able to distract him with food…yepp he’s definitely my son. I had a bag of his snap peas on the table when the wind picked up and blew it over ‍♀️ So I decided I’d let him sit on the patio for a little bit to distract him long enough so I could finish my beer well I look over and he’s crawling straight towards his peas…he then starts laughing thinking it’s the best day ever because he can eat peas off the ground. So YES I let me child eat off the ground yesterday (full disclosure I only let him eat a couple before I decided that was enough and cleaned him up.) He didn’t get hurt, he didn’t get sick and he didn’t scream bloody murder because I wouldn’t let him. I’m not sure if this was a mom win or a mom fail but I had a very happy baby so in my book it’s a WIN! Just a friendly reminder that we all parent a little different but as long as you’re loving your little you’re doing GREAT! -- source link
