I have to admit: I have a weakness for Domhnall Gleeson–especially when he’s paired with Oscar Isaac. They have such a wonderful dynamic together.  Plus, I’ve seen some really good GingerPilot art over the last few months, so this idea popped into my head.  Well, this week is GingerPilot week, and today’s theme is “Meet Cute,” so I thought I’d share…GingerPilot Musician AU:  Armitage Hux is a talented composer and conductor, who has a reputation for being severe and uncompromising.  What most people don’t know is that his stiff exterior is a cover for nearly overwhelming anxiety.  One snowy night before a big performance, he jumps out into the alley behind Orchestra Hall to have a mini-anxiety attack and runs into Poe Dameron, local street musician, who was just cutting through.  Hux’s guard is down and while Poe might appear gruff, he has a heart of gold.  He talks the guy through his anxiety, distracting him by continually calling him “Hugs” and finally kissing the red-head on the nose.Hux is so shocked he forgets his anxiety and the two share a moment, just smiling and staring into each other’s eyes.  But then, Hux hears someone calling for him and he slips back into his stiff and “proper” persona.  While he is grateful to this mystery man for helping him, he ends up being a bit of a jerk as he returns to the building.  Poe shrugs it off; those fancy big-time musicians are all the same.But, of course, Hux can’t get Poe out of his mind, so he starts searching the city for the elusive musician… -- source link
