Genuinely at the grocery store I work at the 8am-3pm, Monday through Friday shift is “Kim’s shift” because for as long as I’ve worked there, this really nice older lady (60-ish or there abouts) works that shift and people will come to the store and do their shopping with the SPECIFIC INTENT to be checked out by Kim and have a little chat. She’ll have like three people in her line and if you try to wave them over to your line because it’s empty they’ll be like “no, I’ll wait for Kim.” -- source link
