There can never be enough Star Wars fanart, got it?At first I could not quite make up my mind whether I wanted the scene to be night day or night (for I love snow, and I LOVED the landscape of the Starkiller Base planet in the movie!), but eventually nighttime convinced me. I mean, how could I miss the opportunity to paint another starlit sky when it’s STAR Wars fanart? It also brings out the lightsaber better. Plus, this way it turned out to be a wonderful oppositional piece to my fanart of Rey and BB-8: day versus night, hot versus cold, front versus back.Many drops of paint died to bring us this piece of illustration. Namely drawing ink on Canson hot pressed satinated paper.
