(+ the actual finished illustration, since the gif really slaughters the colours)You can see the exact moment where I gave up on my original plan to have the ghosts of Baixue dramatically floating in the incense smoke, based on the simple fact that it was pretty hopeless to capture good enough refs/ people aren’t familiar enough with those characters to be able to identify them on sight anyway.Sooo I just made the figures bigger and said ‘eh’.Fave part about this is probably the incense smoke!
