This morning the company behind DAPL said that they would refuse to comply with the government’s orders to reroute the pipeline on the basis that they aren’t actually legally binding. In short, the orders/ruling of the ACoE (Army Corps of Engineers) did NOT actually stop this pipeline. It would be more accurate to say that they just REQUESTED it to be rerouted. Further construction of the pipeline is to be continued based on the corporation behind DAPL’s own statement. The fight is not over at all. #NoDAPL #FuckDAPL #WaterIsLife -- source link
