Tallin, Estonia: Actions in solidarity with Belarusian anarchistsOn the night of 8th of April a group of autonomous anarchists have conducted a graffiti action on Belorussian embassy to support anarchists, antifascists and all the people of Belarus who have recently faced a new cycle of repression carried out by the Lukashenka regime. Also, on the other night, posters were pasted on the walls near the entrance to the embassy. For more than a month the autocratic Lukashenko regime has been striving to suppress a powerful wave of people’s revolt against poverty, social frustration, and general indignity, the latest humiliating law “against social parasitism” (according to this law, being officially unemployed is punishable with fines). Anarchists have played a significant role in the protest rallies against that law running in different cities of Belarus for already more than two months; thus, they have faced repression from the police and state security services. Large fines, detentions, imprisonment, as well as beatings and torturing of detained persons have been used to suppress the protests. With his symbolic action we, the autonomous Tallinn anarchists want to claim our solidarity with our comrades, anarchists and antifascists, as well as the whole people of Belarus in their struggle for a brighter future. Our solidarity is stronger than your repressions!Freedom to Belarussian anarchists and the whole people! -- source link
