We visited an art gallery in Vienna, Austria.This painting is based on a photograph from a newspaper, showing the last footprints of a group of climbers on the Rottalsattel in the summer of 2007. A little later there was a crash that cost the lives of six recruits involved.The paintings weren’t hung on a wall, like it’s usually done. They were displayed on the floor, so people could walk on them.It’s a bit… strange, yet interesting to see footprints of visitors on a painting showing the last footprints of the climbers.Art is a process. -- source link
