darthluminescent:ALL RIGHT I’M GONNA HAVE SOME FEELINGS HERE.One of the best things that’s come out of this particular short is getting to see both of these women, to see the continuation of their relationship with each other. Yes, the whole series (even though they’re simply shorts on YouTube, not even on TV or anything) is about women, but this one is about two women and how they work together. How Ahsoka protects Padme, how Padme jumps right in and kicks the table over to Ahsoka when necessary, how she finishes up knocking out the bounty hunter. How this isn’t the first time we’ve seen them be friends (or have Padme acting as a big sister to Ahsoka), that it’s a continuation of an established relationship in TCW.And I love Star Wars, I love the women of Star Wars, but there’s never enough women having relationships with each other, counting on each other, helping each other, and accomplishing even more together than they would alone. GIVE ME MORE OF WOMEN BEING FRIENDS WITH WOMEN.
