About the only thing that can be interchanged without modification is ammo since they’re both chambered in 7.62x39mm. The magazines for the VZ58 cannot be used in a AK but I have heard of AK mags being modified to fit and work inside of the VZ. They’re pretty good rifles and often times cheaper than most AK variants on the market, depending who made/imported the particular VZ58. (GRH)CZ master race -- source link
