cingram96:How many more? Just think, how many have died in your name? The Doctor, the man who keeps running, never looking back because he dare not, out of shame. I like this because showing the flashbacks alongside the Doctor’s face really makes it feel like we’re seeing into his mind. Also, while I’m on the subject: I saw someone criticize Davros’s speech because the deaths of most of the people who flash through the Doctor’s mind were inevitable and not actually the Doctor’s fault. Even if that’s true, I don’t see the problem, because the fact remains that he wasn’t able to save any of those people. Just look at David’s face. The audience can disagree with Davros, but the Doctor doesn’t. It’s debatable how accurate it is to say that the people pictured above died because of the Doctor, or, Davros’s other accusation, that he “takes ordinary people and fashions them into weapons.” But “the man who keeps running, never looking back because he dare not, out of shame”? Absolutely accurate. -- source link
