navyinks:Character Design of FingonI tried to push his design elements toward a weighted, balanced look for his pivotal role in maintaining peace within the Noldor (e.g. the huge knobs at the ends of his hair shaped to look like balance weights). Olive branches as a symbol of peace, and the recurring motif of good fortune knots and bracelets for a little irony surrounding the manner of his death.A few personalised little details are included for a lighthearted, airheaded interpretation of the character. He wears his affection for others on his sleeve. Like Fingolfin, he also has gold highlights in his hair, courtesy of grandma’s genes.ᶦ’ᵐ ᵍᵒᶦⁿᵍ ᵗᵒ ᵇᵉ ʰᵒⁿᵉˢᵗ ᶠᶦⁿᵍᵒⁿ'ˢ ʰᵃᶦʳ ᶦˢ ᵗʰᵉ ʳᵉᵃˢᵒⁿ ᶦᵗ ᵗᵒᵒᵏ ⁴ ᵐᵒⁿᵗʰˢ ᵗᵒ ᶜᵒⁿᶜᵉᶦᵛᵉ ʰᶦˢ ᵈᵉˢᶦᵍⁿ ˢᵒ ᶦ ᵇᵉᵗᵗᵉʳ ⁿᵒᵗ ˢᵉᵉ ᵃⁿʸᵇᵒᵈʸ ᵈᶦˢʳᵉˢᵖᵉᶜᵗᶦⁿᵍ ʰᶦˢ ʰᵃᶦʳ ᶦⁿ ᵗʰᵉ ᵗᵃᵍˢOther DesignsFingolfinHouse of Feanor | Misc Silmarillion Characters -- source link
