It is, at best, glossed over if mentioned at all. I’m a British Asian and not a single bit of this is taught in the UK at any educational level.DID U KNOWWhile the whole world was condemning the Nazis for the Jewish concentration camps, at the very same time the British had their own concentration camps is Scotland ALSO FILLED SITH JEWISH PEOPLE.I had never heard of this until the Behind the Bastards episode on the history of concentration camps. The British had a LOT of concentration camps over the years. A lot. The camps in Scotland were run by the Polish government on exile lead by the general Wladyslaw Sikorski. It’s important to say that when the current Polish government is denying any involvement of Poland in extermination and concentration camps and even persecuting people for saying the sentence “Polish camps”.Because of the Allies Forces Act, these camps were recognised as sovereign Polish territory and so the Scottish police was not allowed to investigate these deaths.(Here’s a source that talks about it) -- source link
