toadschooled:The horned marsupial frog [Gastrotheca cornuta] is a threatened species found in Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Colombia. They were only just recently discovered to still be living in Ecuador, with a few species found just outside the Cotacachi-Cayapas Ecological Reserve, in the Chocó rainforest. The Rainforest Trust is currently accepting donations to purchase strategic properties in the rainforest to preserve species such as the horned marsupial frog.
