sevenpencee: White Snakeroot, or Ageratina altissima is so toxic that if a cow eats it, the humans who consume it’s meat or milk can and have died from the deadly Tremetol toxin. Known as “Milk Sickness”, this plant is responsible for the deaths of thousands of settlers, and was single-handedly responsible for around half the deaths in Dubois County, Indiana during the early 1900′s.
