My geology professor explained that Hawaii is littered with bombs (projectiles ejected from volcanoes during violent eruption).He appeared on the National Geographic a few times as a University of Hawaii geologist. During one such filming he was explaining bombs during an eruption when one such projectile landed near them. In his classic way, he gestured to it and said “And here one is!
